Stop feeding the dog!!!!

Here l am trying to create community with help and advice for raising a Jack Russell terrier puppy.

I’m a fraud.  All is not good in Ruby’s home   Hubby bought me Ruby as a gift whilst l was recovering from illness

We’ve had pets before but never a puppy.

I was overwhelmed.  The first night she swallowed a pain medication tablet she found under the bed and later on wee,d on top of it.

That was in August.  It’s nearly Xmas and l,m still learning by researching for my Jack Russell forum.

Ruby is beginning to get a bit burly, not just through breed characteristics but hubby slyly feeding her after l gave gone to bed

This has to stop!!!!  How can l fantasize on being the doyen, the go to forum for advice about jack Russells if in a few months ago time my dog is staggering around the house barely able to breathe or too fat to get on a chair!

Things are getting bad here!  Looks like two against one.  When l,ve gone to bed hubby is letting Ruby go for her final wee in the front garden, (back garden has a much better and bigger toilet area for her).  Her fav spots has been on my low growing winter flowers.  I’m not having this….. will have to think up a plan to sabotage one or the other!
